Gefangen DVD Locked up

Petty thief Dennis arrives at the jail to serve 2 years time for credit card fraud, and soon the young man is introduced to the strict prison rules and the ruthless hierarchy among the other prisoners. His tract is ruled by a gang leader without scruples who is secretly in cahoots with the supervising guard. Lutz is impressed with Dennis, who is quiet but in no way cowardly, and wants to integrate him into his gang.

After initially resisting, Dennis makes an effort to fit in. But then he meets Mike in the prison yard: Mike, an African American, lives in a different tract and belongs to a rival gang. At first, the two can only meet secretly in Mike's cell. This represents a conflict for Dennis however, because it is against the rules to remain for anytime in a different tract, but penalties and arrest can't stop the intense desire Dennis has for Mike. The situation escalates when Lutz and his buddies get wind of the affair between Mike and Dennis.
