Since 1984, Gay & Lesbian bookstore Vrolijk is one of the biggest and bestknown gay/lesbian bookshops in Europe, with 2 floors - The shop is located smack in the middle of Amsterdam, behind the Queen's Palace on Dam Square.

We e-mail a digital newsletter every 2 weeks orso, listing new GLBT books (novels + non-fiction), DVD films (join our mailing list: Vrolijks Book- & DVD bulletin) and news announcement of events in the shop. We order books that are not in stock and send it to you (There's an order form on the site) - We also sell calendars, gadgets + some porn.
We print 'Vrolijk t-shirts' with the slogan "I Read so I am Sexy" [^TM]. And we organise signing sessions in the shop. In short: we do and sell a lot, including delft blue figurines
